運科新角色:尿液肌聯蛋白N端片段

摘要

回顧筆者過去一年所發表的科普文章,主要格式仍偏向學術寫作,為達到更接近科普的效果,本次的呈現風格將與過往有極大差異,不但大幅縮減文字內容,同時也自行繪製多張漫畫圖,希望達到淺顯易懂之成效,也期盼讓更多民眾對於我們TISS的科普文章感到興趣。本篇要向讀者介紹一個新穎的指標,全名為尿液肌聯蛋白N端片段,英文簡稱UTF (Urinary Titin N-Terminal Fragment)UTF可反映出人體的肌肉損傷程度,進而用來評估運動員的狀況或恢復情形,因此逐漸受到運動科學領域重視。因檢測UTF所用的樣本為尿液,是非侵入性的檢測,可減緩受測者的不適感,是未來可廣泛採用的指標。
